Away Game

A group of friends from Northwestern Arkansas reunite 10 years later to relive the glory years...well, glory moment, at least, in which they could have been heroes, giants, state football champions.

"Springdale Giants Stay Reliant; Giants, Giants, Stand Defiant..."

Away Game was written by Spenser Davis and directed by John Morrison.

Dan Krall

Dan Krall (Five) is the tidiest beer shotgunner you've ever met, and is glad John Morrison likes the cut of his jib. He can be seen onstage monthly with Cassandra, sometimes with Hobo Junction, and rarely with theaters that people take seriously. Dan likes writing jokes and is represented by Bruce Regal Cat Lawyer.

Julie Peterson

Julie Peterson is a Chicago-based singer, actor and writer. Originally from Pontiac, Illinois, Julie holds a Master of Music degree in opera performance from The Boston Conservatory. Julie hung up her opera “horns” a few years ago and now focuses her singing talents in other genres like pop, jazz, and Broadway. She was the lead singer for Central Illinois- based cover band “Willie Makitand the Betty Donts” and can currently be seen in MCL Chicago’s Gotcha Covered: Season 3. Most recently, she performed in Rhinofest's Disney Pixar’s Beers (Ginger Bitch) and HoboRobo 10’s Food Baby (Elle). Julie thanks her family and friends for always being so supportive of her passion to perform, and she sends a huge THANK YOU to John and Spenser for this opportunity.

Brian Rhode

Brian Rohde (Three) is thrilled to be once again working under the direction of John "Milwaukee Duster" Morrison, a man best described as "the only guy keeping Brian Rohde acting these days." Rohde has been recently seen in such John Morrison joints as Food Baby, part of Hobo Robo 10; Kitties in Space at Otherworld Theatre's Sci-Fi festival; and some other show about a strip club whose title has been lost to the wind, part of Hobo Robo 9(?): Hobos Roasting on an Open Fire. You may also recognize Rohde as the host of Nothing Special Productions's's FIGHT NIGHT. If theatre had rules, it would be a sport.
