Ghostlight Ensemble presents a special installment of its ongoing live movie reading series to get you in the mood for Halloween: You've Got READ on You: A Shaun of The Dead Live Reading.

So this is what you do: Take car. Go to mum's. Kill Phil. Grab Liz, go to the Celtic Crown, have a nice cold pint, and wait for all of this to blow over. Starting at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, October 17.

Shaun of The Dead is a 2004 British horror comedy film about a man trying to get some focus in his life as he deals with his girlfriend, his mother and stepfather — and also an apocalyptic zombie uprising.

Various and assorted character roles, day players, featured extras and great aunts who got put into the film to make mum happy: Maria Burnham, Norman Burt, Casey Kells and Miona Lee.

The live reading is directed by Jean E. Burr.

There is a suggested donation of $5 at the door, which will help Ghostlight fund its upcoming season.
