Jackie Bowes
Jackie Bowes [she/her & they/them] (Director) is a director, musician and actor. Jackie has directed for the Whiskey Radio hour, assisted Nick Bowling (The Marriott Theatre) and assisted Connor Wilson (Commission Theatre). As an actor, Jackie is represented by Lily’s Talent. Jackie is a co-founder and producer at @litterboxchicago and a representative with @themartinchicago. www.jackie-bowes.com.
Colin Martin
Colin Martin (Walter Hoatzin) is proud to be making his Ghostlight Ensemble debut. A D.C. transplant, Colin has performed in Chicago with Theatre Momentum’s Einstein Ensemble, No Passport Theatre’s Climate Change Theatre Action Festival, and appeared as a townsperson in The Goodman Theatre’s production of An Enemy of the People. He graduated from The College of Wooster with a Bachelor of Arts in theatre studies-acting emphasis and has also trained with The Second City and Comedy Sportz. He wishes to thank his parents and Terilyn for their listening skills and unmovable support.
Chase Nuerge
Chase Nuerge (Jan) is glad to be back with Ghostlight Ensemble for this fun set of productions! They got their Bachelor of Arts from Oberlin College and are enjoying being a part of the Chicago theater community. They love making relevant and political theater, especially normalizing gender non-conformity. Previous roles include Zhey in [Trans]formation (The Living Canvas and Nothing Without a Company), Zelazny in Down the Rocky Road and All the Way to Bedlam (Otherworld Theater Company), Sad Boy in Wasteland Hero (Reutan Collective), Puck in A Midsummer Night's Dream and Shay in Current (Route 66 and The Chicago Dramatists). Next, they are performing with The Chicago Playback Theatre and would love to tell some stories and create some improv with you!
Kaileigh JaKirra Robinson
Kaileigh JaKirra Robinson (Emma) is excited to grace the Ghostlight stage for the first time as Emma in Stinky Bird. Kaileigh is an emerging artist who graduated from Columbia College Chicago with a degree in cinema art and science. She believes her artistic expression should not be held to the bonds of one medium and expresses herself in the outlets of acting, filmmaking, circus arts, dance, songwriting and poetry. Kaileigh recently finished shooting her first feature-length.
Kayla V. White (Leila) has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Music Theatre (Illinois Wesleyan University) and a yoga teaching certificate (All Yoga Bali), and believes that these mean she never has to wear real pants again. Previous credits include: Cat ((Un)Seen: A Phantasmagorical Story of Tangled Minds; Clock Productions), Nedda (Last Laugh; Clock Productions), Advisors (Princess without Pots; Ghostlight Ensemble), Ophelia (here comes the tide, there goes the girl; Hairpin Arts), (below Heaven, above Chipotle, Second City Writing) and Chief (Princess and the Pea; Missoula Children’s Theatre).
