Emma PAIGE Baker

Emma Paige Baker (Mary Eastwood) is delighted to make her debut with Ghostlight Ensemble! She was most recently seen as Mollie Ralston in The Mousetrap (Metropolis Performing Arts) and Ross/Hecate in an on-site performance of The Scottish Play in Birnam Wood, Scotland (Oxford Shakespeare Company). She is the co-creator of the web series I Hate LA and is proudly represented by The Rock Agency. She has never held a successful seance, but did grow up in a very-likely-haunted house.

Noah berman

Noah Berman (Wales/Dunn) is a graduate of Middlebury College, where he studied theatre and Italian. His New York credits include: Good, Serious Money, The Castle and Monster (PTP/NYC at Atlantic Stage 2); The Runaway Clone (NYMF); A Users Guide to Hell, Lovesick (Project Y Theatre Company) and others. His Chicago credits include: Idiot Actor’s Syndrome (Chicago Theatre Workshop); High Fidelity (Refuge Theatre Project, 2017 Jeff Award for Best Production – Musical); The Ballad of Lefty and Crabbe (Underscore Theatre) and others. He would like to thank Sarah, his wonderful fiance, and his family for their continued love and support.

Justin Broom

Justin Broom (Trent) is honored to be working with Ghostlight Ensemble once again after recently appearing in You and Me and Five Bucks: A Live Reading of Reality Bites. Broom has also appeared in Chicago scene with the Stone Soup Shakespeare touring production of Julius Caesar. Broom holds a Bachelor of Arts in radio, television and digital media and a Bachelor of Arts in theater from Southern Illinois University. Favorite SIU credits include: The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe (2016 and 2017), Torak the Inadequate, and Lively Stones (in conjunction with Running With Scissors Theater Company). jean E. Burr

Jean E. Burr (Miss Erskine) moved up to Chicago during the Polar Vortex of 2014 after graduating from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington with degrees in film studies and Japanese. Some of her favorite roles include Winifred (Once Upon a Mattress), Sally Brown (You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown), Cassie Hack (Hack/Slash: Strange and Unbalanced), Margalo (Stuart Little: The Musical), Safari Guide (Kilimanjaro Safaris Expedition at Disney World) and Linda (Blood Brothers). She would like to thank her family, friends, the cast and production team and Chippo for their continued love and support.

Norman J Burt

Norman Burt (Mr. Roscoe Crosby), discovered his love for performance in high school beginning with speech and debate and transforming itself into theater in college. Inspired to make the pilgrimage to the mecca of Improvisation, he moved to Chicago in 2014. Past productions include Picasso at the Lapine Agile and Six Characters in Search of an Author (Ghostlight Ensemble), The Misanthrope (Shakespeare Carolina), Twilight, LA 1992 (OnQ Productions), Much Ado About Nothing (Ignition Theater Project) and One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest (Theater Charlotte). Norman says that nothing would make him happier than to, one day, perform as Tiny Tim in a production of A Christmas Carol to a completely unaware audience.

Elijah Cox

Elijah Cox (Will Crosby) is an actor, writer and teacher in Chicago. Acting credits include Two Days in Court (City Lit Theater Company), Brooke Astor's Last Affair (Chicago Musical Theatre Festival) and Zürich (Steep Theatre, u/s). His short play Admittance was produced in 2018 though the McKay Arts Center. Elijah is a proud graduate of Loyola University Chicago. Thanks to Mom, Dad and Annie.

Sean Harklerode

Sean Harklerode (Tim Donohue), a lifelong Bela Lugosi fan, is thrilled to work with Ghostlight Ensemble again for this production, playing a part Lugosi himself once played. He will not be attempting the accent. His most recent credits include The Artistic Home’s Jeff Award-winning Requiem for a Heavyweight (Charlie), Ghostlight Ensemble's Picasso at the Lapin Agile (Gaston), and understudying The Next Big Thing at The Factory Theater. Favorite roles include Max in Lend Me a Tenor, Asa in Our American Cousin, and Elwood P. Dowd in Harvey.

Casey Kramer

Casey Kramer (Rosalie La Grange) is a recent transplant to Chicago from Los Angeles and has been a prolific figure in the theatre/ film scene. Her work in The New Electric Ballroom, Dolly West’s Kitchen, Loyal Women, and A Moon for the Misbegotten has been lauded with LADCC, DramaLogue, L.A. Weekly,
Outlook and Geoffrey awards. Recently, Madrid International Film Festival recognized her work
in Owen, the story of a homeless woman and her dog. 2019: two special films travel the festival
circuit: Nicole Groton’s Darkness in Tenement 45 and James Franco’s Mississippi Requiem. A
Lifetime Member of the famed Actors Studio, she recognizes them for putting her on the good
road and warm thanks to Ghostlight Ensemble for their graciousness and welcome.

Miona Lee

Miona Lee (Miss Standish) is originally from St. Louis, Missouri and has been working in Chicago for almost 10 years. Previous Ghostlight credits include The Selfish Giant, Picasso at the Lapin Agile and Six Characters in Search of An Author. Other Chicago credits include The Wilding (Forget Me Not Theater), A Thousand Times Goodnight (The Unrehearsed Shakespeare Company), Hack/Slash (Strangeloop Theatre) and A MidSummer Night's Dream (Strangeloop Theatre). She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in theatre performance from Missouri State University and is certified in Unarmed Staged Combat with SAFD. In addition to acting, she serves as Co-Artistic Director for Ghostlight Ensemble, studies trapeze with Aloft Circus Arts, and physical storytelling and contact improv in the Loui Movement Technique. Thanks to Tim for all the love and support I could ever ask for.

Allison McCorkle

Allison McCorkle (Mrs. Alicia Crosby) is thrilled to be playing with Ghostlight again! A graduate of Texas Wesleyan University, she’s been in Chicago for 12 years and worked with various theatres, including Black Ensemble Theater, Red Tape Theatre and GreatWorks. She was seen most recently in Bury Me with Dandelion Theatre and An Ideal Husband with Ghostlight Ensemble. Thanks and love to Zach.

Sean Peck-Collier

Sean Peck-Collier (Mason) is pleased to make his Ghostlight Ensemble debut. A transplant to
Chicago, his Pacific Northwest productions include: The Elephant Man (Port Angeles Players),
Ondine (The Alle’ Stage), Beckett, No Exit (Port Angeles Players 2nd Stage) and In the Sawtooths (Olympic Theatre Arts). Love to S and L.

Jonathan Saucedo

Jonathan Saucedo (Standish) holds a Bachelor of Arts in theatre and education from Loyola University Chicago with additional training at Green Shirt Studio. Jonathan worked with special needs students before returning to the stage in independently produced productions of Romeo & Juliet (Friar Lawrence) and The Sightless (Oldest Blind Man). Loyola credits include Galileo (Galileo), The Danube (Sandor), Curse of The Starving Class (Ellis) and Director for I Can’t Imagine Tomorrow. He is excited to appear in the upcoming production of Not Quite a Christmas Carol (Christmas Past) with The Fox and the Phoenix Theatre Company. Jonathan is a 4 year fighter/survivor of CIDP, a rare autoimmune neuromuscular disorder, crediting family, friends, faith and medical team for these continued and beautiful opportunities.

Alina Jenine Taber

Alina Jenine Taber (Helen O’Neill) is thrilled to mark her return to live theater with Ghostlight Theater Ensemble. After spending some time nurturing her film career (of which most notably was her four season role as Lexi Olinsky on Chicago PD), she returns to the stage with The Thirteenth Chair. On stage, she has worked with Theater Seven of Chicago, Red Orchid Theater and Clockwise Theater. Alina is also a jazz and folk musician, performing at City Winery and Motor Row Brewing with Shirley King, daughter of B.B. King. Special thanks to Ghostlight Theater for allowing her to return to the stage with such a unique and gripping play.

Michelle Annette (Mrs. Trent)’s selected Chicago credits include: The Shape of Things (Eclectic Theatre), Moon Over Buffalo (Eclectic Full Contact Theatre) Death Defying Acts (Saint Sebastian Players) Unshelved (Eclectic Theatre), Six Degrees of Separation (Eclectic Full Contact Theatre) The Women (Circle Theatre), The Boys Next Door (Metropolis Performing Arts), The Boarding House (Citadel Theatre), Nunsense (Saint Sebastian Players), A Year in the Death of Eddie Jester (Jedlicka Performing Arts), Best Christmas Pageant Ever (Village Players Oak Park), Company (Village Theatre Guild), as well as other performances around the Chicago area. Production Team

 Maria Burnham

Maria Burnham (Production & Stage Manager) likes hats, which is good because she wears a lot of them. Co-Artistic Director of Ghostlight Ensemble, Maria has also been known to write, direct, act, produce, stage manage, design props, patch walls and market a thing or two. Behind it all is a love of storytelling. Sometimes whimsical, sometimes dark, always subtly dissident, the stories Maria tells shine light in places people rather leave dark.

Bayard Veiller

Bayard Veiller (Playwright) was born on January 2, 1869, in Brooklyn, New York. He was an American playwright, screenwriter, producer and film director. He wrote for 32 films between 1915 and 1941 and is known for The Trial of Mary Dugan (1929), Sherlock Brown (1922) and There Are No Villains (1921). He was married to Margaret Wycherly. He died on January 16, 1943 in New York City.

Chad Wise

Chad Wise (Director) is the managing director and a founding member of Ghostlight Ensemble. Chad most recently directed Ghostlight's holiday show, Gingerbread Grindhouse. He founded New Millennium Theatre Company in 1998 and served as its artistic director for many years, bringing experiences like The Texas Chainsaw Musical, Miyagi! A Karate Kid Musical and Silent Night of the Living Dead to Chicago stages. Along the way he’s worked with the likes of The Public House Theatre and Terra Mysterium as well.
